Mission Statement
The Italian American Society of NY shall have all the powers and recognition of the New York State NOT FOR PROFIT CORPORATION LAW, (in accordance with IRC 501(c)(3)) subject to any limitations provided in the NOT FOR PROFIT CORPORATION LAW or any other statute of the STATE OF NEW YORK. Mission Statement: The sole purpose and aim of the Italian American Society of NY (“IASNY”, “Club”, “Organization”) is to educate the public regarding the Italian culture and heritage and to promote and foster social affairs as well as fraternity among members of Italian-American descent, to promote and improve the civil status of members of Italian-American descent, to protect and preserve the social and constitutional rights of all members of Italian–American descent to promote and develop the culture among members of Italian-American descent, to encourage a greater interest in sports and taking part in sports competitions, to acquire and preserve documents, relics and sentimental souvenirs and to preserve and perpetuate the glorious memories of the Italian culture and heritage. To provide fun, relaxation, and networking opportunities for all members.
